Payment Terms and Conditions

This payment system is provided by Diocese of Cork and Ross and its third-party suppliers.

Diocese of Cork and Ross may update these terms from time to time and any changes will be effective immediately on being set out here. Please ensure you are aware of the current terms.

 

Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using the online payment facility. Using the online payment facility on this website indicates that you accept these terms. If you do not accept these terms do not use this facility.

All payments are subject to the following conditions:-

Your payment will normally reach the Diocese of Cork and Ross or parish account to which you are making a payment on the following working day.

We cannot accept liability for a payment not reaching the correct account due to you quoting an incorrect card number or incorrect personal details.

Neither can we accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier for any reason.

 

Security

All payment details which are entered through this payment gateway are encrypted when the customer, or third-party making payment, enters them. Communications to and from the service provider's site are encrypted.

Neither Diocese of Cork and Ross nor any parish to which you donate via the Diocesan website shall be liable for any failure by the customer or third party making payment of fees to properly protect data from being seen on their screen by other persons or otherwise obtained by such persons, during the online payment process or in respect of any omission to provide accurate information in the course of the online payment process.

 

All cardholder information is protected and will never be passed onto any third parties, except as outlined in these terms and conditions.

 

Service Provider

 

Online payments of fees can be made by credit or debit card.

The transaction is received and validated by the Service Provider (Fee Pay Ltd t/a Easy Pay Plus). The client making the application will get an immediate notification to confirm whether or not the card validation was successful.

The funds will be transferred from your account within 48 hours.

 

 

Refund Policy

Refund of payments made will be at the discretion of  the Diocese of Cork and Ross or the parish to which you have donated via the diocesan website. Disputes regarding amounts paid must be made in writing to Diocese of Cork and Ross.  If they apply to a parish donation, the information may be forwarded to the parish so that the matter may be resolved.

 

Refunds, if applicable, will only be made to the debit/credit card used for the original transaction.

 

 

Cancellation Policy

To cancel a recurring payment, please contact the Diocese of Cork and Ross.

 

Privacy
Personal data is data that identifies you or can be used to identify or contact you and may include, for example, your name, address, mobile number, or email address.

When you donate to the Diocese of Cork and Ross or to any of its parishes via www.corkandross.org, you will provide the Diocese and Feepay Limited (t/a Easy Pay Plus) with the following personal data:

1.      Your name, address, phone number and email address;

2.      The amount you donate;

1.      Your payment card details, including, cardholder name, card number, card expiry date and CCV number. Card details are encrypted and are not visible within the system to any administrators within the Parish or Feepay Limited (t/a Easy Payments Plus)

2.       

This personal data that you volunteer to us will be processed for the following purposes:

  1. To facilitate payments from you.
  2. So that we can contact you in connection with your donation;
  3. To administer the Charitable Donations Scheme.

Freepay Limited  (t/a Easy Pay Plus) will provide the Diocese/parish to which you donate with a summary of the amount you have donated each month.

If your donation is being made via www.corkandross.org for a particular parish, the Diocese will forward your personal data to the relevant parish so that the donation may be processed by the parish and so that it may benefit the parish.

In order for your payment to be processed, your personal details will be sent to AIB Merchant Services.  Your data may be transferred outside the EEA but within the First Data Group by AIB Merchant Services.  Please see AIB Merchant Services’ Privacy Policy for further information www.aibms.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/AIBMS-GDPR-privacy-notice-Final_v2.pdf.  The Diocese/relevant parish will receive confirmation from AIB that your payment has been processed.  This confirmation will contain your name, address and donation amount.  This assists us in the administration of the donations.

www.EasyPaymentsPlus.com is hosted by Amazon Web Services.  This means that your personal data may be processed by that entity.

If you choose to receive emails from  Freepay Limited (t/a Easy Pay Plus), to receive payment links and receipts, your personal data will be processed by MailChimp for the purposes of sending you those emails.

 

If you choose to receive SMS Messages from  Freepay Limited (t/a Easy Pay Plus), to receive payment links and receipts, your personal data will be processed by Clickatell for the purposes of sending you those emails.

 

The information you provide in connection with your donation will be retained by the Diocese and/or appropriate parish for 7 years to comply with financial and taxation requirements.  If you set up regular payments to the Diocese/parish, the Diocese and/or the parish will retain some of your data for 7 years after the final payment is made. 

If you donate more than €250 in any one year to the Diocese or to a parish, we may contact you in relation to the Charitable Donation Scheme.

You have the right to request a copy of any personal data held by us about you. You also have the right to have such data corrected where it is inaccurate or misleading. You also have the right to have this data deleted.

Collection and use of Non-Personal Data
Like most websites, we gather statistical and analytical information collected on an aggregate basis of all visitors to our website. This non-personal data comprises information that cannot be used to identify or contact you.
